Dealer: PureTime
Period covered: February 2024 – September 2025
Orders: 6
Problems: 0 delivered late-and-broken, 2 delivered late

Summary

The watches have all been as described. The site is the clearest of the big dealers — you can actually see what is in stock versus what is being built. That distinction is the whole game with PureTime: if the listing says in stock, it ships in days. If it says pre-order, you are joining a queue you cannot see the length of.

Transit, UK

21, 24, 26, 26, 38, 22 days. The 38 was a pre-order placed four days after a factory released a new Submariner; everyone on the forum ordered the same week and everyone waited. That is not the dealer’s fault, but the dealer could say so up front.

Payment

Card works, and the surcharge is disclosed before you confirm. I have never needed a chargeback, but knowing the option exists changes how I read a dealer’s emails.

Complaint

Their email replies are templated. You get the right answer eventually, but the first response is often a copy-paste that does not address your question. If you have a real problem, reply twice and include photos in the first message.

The pre-order queue point is the single most useful thing anyone has written on this forum. I ordered a “2–4 weeks” item in 2025 and it took nine. Nothing wrong with the watch. Everything wrong with the expectation management.

Five orders, broadly agree. One note: their packaging changed around 2024 and the outer box is now slightly more conspicuous. Nothing has been opened, but it draws more attention than it used to.

First order with them last month, 23 days to Portugal, no customs charge. Watch is what was advertised. The templated email thing is real — I asked a specific question about bracelet sizing and got a paragraph about shipping times.
