Wore the Panerai Submersible PAM973 daily for two months. Keeping decent time, maybe four seconds a day, and the bracelet has held up better than I expected.
Is this normal for THB?

Ask for another one. For that money it should be right.
Looks better than the QC pics suggested.
Mine arrived with the same hand alignment, sent it back.

That packaging is better than some I have had.
I have the same one from APSF and it has been solid.
Follow up in a few months and let us know how it holds up.
