This year’s purchase is a 126610LN from InTime. I paid Ryan by bank transfer, with the total in the EUR 400 to 450 range, and did my usual request for video before approval. Payment was on 29 April. The first QC photographs came on 5 May and made the bezel triangle look noticeably left of twelve. I asked for the bezel to be rotated away and returned to the nearest click on a short video.
The video arrived two days later. It showed the bezel returning to a position that looked much better, followed by a straight photograph with the camera further away. I approved that watch. It reached Krakow on 23 May and I have now spent nearly a week checking whether I talked myself into accepting something crooked. At the nearest click, the triangle is very slightly left under magnification. On my wrist I do not notice it.
That is the outcome, before anyone demands that I call it either perfect or rubbish. I would probably reject a visibly displaced insert, but this example is within what I can live with. Ryan answered the specific request and did not ask me to approve the first picture on trust. Buying one watch a year makes me rather slow at this stage. The extra two days were worthwhile, even though a video did not magically remove the need to decide what I personally find acceptable.
