This forum only works if reports are specific. “Great dealer, fast shipping” tells the next person nothing. Here is what to include.

In every report

  • Order date and arrival date. Not “took a while” — actual dates.
  • Country you are in. Customs outcomes are meaningless without it.
  • Courier. Airmail and DHL behave nothing alike.
  • Payment method. Card or transfer decides whether you had recourse.
  • What went wrong, if anything, and how it was resolved. The resolution matters more than the fault.

What we do not want

  • Referral links. Post them and the post gets removed.
  • “PM me for a discount code.”
  • Reviews of a dealer you have not actually ordered from.

On negative reports

Post them. We do not delete a negative thread because a dealer complained, and we do not require proof beyond a plausible timeline. If a dealer resolves it, say so in the same thread — the resolution is the useful part.

On positive reports

Be careful with enthusiasm. A dealer with twenty glowing first posts and no dates is either lucky or astroturfed. Include dates and it stops mattering which.

New here, this is helpful. One question: is it acceptable to post about a dealer I used before finding this forum, with dates from last year?

Hollis16610Participant

Yes — older reports are welcome as long as you give the year. We would rather have a 2026 report with dates than a 2026 report with none.
